I had a great stay at the Columbus Inn Motel in San Francisco from December 28-31! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location couldn’t be more convenient—just a short walk to Pier 39. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the area. The 30 bus stop is right in front of the motel, and a day pass is just $5. Plus, they offer safe parking, which was a huge plus. The motel is close to cafes, Chinatown, the Financial District, and the Italian neighborhood. While the room didn’t have a fridge, it was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The best part is that the location made it super easy to hop on public transport or grab a taxi (even the ones without drivers!). Highly recommend for a budget-friendly and convenient stay in San Francisco
Great location for access to San Francisco attractions. Easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Free Covered Parking is the best part! Felt secure leaving my rental car to explore the city. Bed could have been more comfortable, but the room was very clean and cozy. Tons of great restaurant/Cafe options within just a few blocks.
Such a fantastic hotel! Tony at the front desk was so kind, welcoming and helpful. The location is unbeatable- 5 minutes walking to the heart of North Beach, or Fisherman’s Wharf. Really clean spacious rooms and such a comfy bed. Free covered parking is a huge plus as well. This will be my go-to from now on when I visit San Francisco!
Great experience and location! The staff were accommodating and so friendly (especially Tony and the woman with curly hair/glasses- so sorry I can’t remember her name). Walkable to a lot of great spots and they let us store bags early/late from our check in time.
Stayed here on a Friday night and found it to be a great value for the price! Friendly desk clerk, a pleasant room and bathroom that felt very clean, comfortable mattress with good quality bedding, and a quiet and safe-feeling location that is within walking distance to the wharf. Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was a bit low. Overall we enjoyed it and would recommend!
Hotel is a little older but will maintained, 3rd floor has a great view, staff is phenomenal, and the location is perfect. My go to the next time I'm in town
We had a wonderful trip staying here in April this year. It’s walking distance to fisherman’s wharf and tram carts. 20 minute drive to the Golden Gate Bridge. There’s a walgreens a minutes walk away if you need anything. Car parking is free which is super rare, it isn’t gated but our car was fine. Just don’t leave anything in them (this is the same for anywhere in San Fran really). The rooms are outdated, but we were only there to sleep so we didn’t mind. They were clean and comfortable and that’s all we needed. We requested a cot for our toddler and it was set up ready for when we checked in. We had lovely interactions with the staff who were all friendly. We felt safe walking round the area and to-from fisherman’s wharf. Overall we had a really nice stay here and would stay again!
Location: Really close to the Wharf, restaurants, Trader Joe's and Walgreens if you get sick like I did. Staff: Super friendly and welcoming Room: nice and clean with operable windows to get fresh air. Parking: its actually free!!! Huge selling point considering how much nearby hotels charge. Self parking is just on the 2nd floor of the garage. Staff will point the way. Definitely found my go-to for future trips! Excellent value.
This charming hotel boasts a fantastic location and spacious rooms with all the essentials. My room was spotless! I had two delightful interactions with the front desk team, and they were both friendly and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this lovely spot!
We spent four nights here while visiting family. It was the perfect location for us. It’s walking distance to Ghirardelli’s Square and to fantastic local restaurants like Pat’s Cafe which became our breakfast spot. Staff at the hotel was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and free parking was provided. We’ll definitely be returning.
